

The Best Way Tweens Can Stay Busy at Home!
As life begins to go back to normal this summer, we still may not be able to go out and enjoy summer activities as usual due to Covid-19. Let's talk about some things we can do to stay safe and use our time wisely!
Find a Morning routine that works for you! What you do first thing in the morning can effect the whole vibe of your day! While you should find time to rest this summer, it might be wise to set an alarm for a reasonable time to wake up, sleeping the day away can leave you feeling unfulfilled. kicking off your day with a good breakfast can make for a wonderful morning!
Use the extra time to treat yourself like a queen! Make self care a priority! This can be as simple or complex as you wish! After you wake up embrace the day with a quick stress session or workout, take a luxurious shower, perfect your skincare routine, floss, eat three balanced meals a day! By making a list of things you can do This program is designed to build self esteem, build connections with peers, and explore a variety of activities. The girls will participate in a weekly book club, political science lesson (with a focus on powerful female role models), music study, theater class, and art class. We will have an activity to get moving each day including a barre class, kickboxing, strength training, yoga, and a weekly dance party. Open Enrollment!! Reach out to friends, go for a socially distance walk if you can! Staying connected with friends is so important! You may begin to feel lonely if your isolated all the time! if you can wear a mask and meet up with friends in person, go for it! If you are far away or still quarantined Zoom / Facetime is a great option! If you feel like your friends list is lacking these days (We have all been there) consider joining our Zoom Summer Camp 2020! Starting July 6- August 26th we will have a wonderful group of girls 10-13 meet Mon-Fri 9am-12pm to make friends / participate in a variety of fun activities!
